Lasers have quickly taken sheet metal fabrication to new levels. Not only are they able to cut any contour or shape cleanly, they are able to hold tolerances of +/- 0.002”. Carbon and Stainless steels, Aluminum, and even titanium are all easily processed with the focused beam of light. Using our numerous CAD/CAM systems, MPI uses the lasers to create intricate tooling for other machines and complex fixtures for welding and assembly. Our thickness capabilities are 1.00” Carbon Steel, 0.625” Stainless Steel, and 0.375” Aluminum. If your requirements exceed this thickness, please see our waterjet section.
